"Awards Shows Mainly Publicize the People Giving the Awards"
This week at Amplify Media, we’ll be highlighting local business that we think are doing excellent work in the following areas: social media engagement, public image/personality, knowledge base, design work, and contribution to the community. Each day we’re going to select an Amplify client, and a local business not affiliated with our firm, and give them each a shout out for the great work that they’re doing. Today we’re going to start with social media engagement, and our Amplify client shout out is highlighting Paramount Management.
In the years that we’ve worked with Paramount we’ve been consistently impressed with the property management firm’s social media campaigns, and with their engagement with their residents through their website. A great example of this is Paramount’s Residents Services page, which you can see here
. This page gives residents an opportunity to engage directly with Paramount staff, it offers a wealth of information on great savings at local business, and it also encourages residents to get more involved in the community through Paramount’s TRAC program (Together Residents Accomplish Change). It’s an excellent resource for all Paramount tenants, and one that is publicized frequently on their social media pages.
For our non-client shout out, we’re looking to Eastlink. The Atlantic Canada based telecom company doesn’t always get the most love on social media, but that doesn’t mean they’re about to shy away from using social media platforms to engage with their customers. We frequently see Eastlink responding quickly to client concerns left on their Twitter and Facebook pages, at all hours of the day or night. This consistent availability and willingness to engage is something most companies can’t come close to offering, and Eastlink deserves to be recognized for their efforts in this area.
Check back tomorrow when we’ll be highlighting two local companies that have cultivated fun, engaging and memorable public images. You can let us know what you think of today’s choices on our Twitter and Facebook pages, or by emailing us at email@example.com.
